Communications carriers and systems all along the East Coast are still recovering from the devastation wreaked by Hurricane Sandy, which slammed into the East Coast earlier this week. The New Jersey shore and New York City were particularly hard hit, with the New York City subway severely flooded. Mayor Michael Bloomberg called it the worst storm to ever hit the city.
