SPOTLIGHT: VoIP 1Q08 Subscriber Numbers

ISP-Planet has compiled the top 10 VoIP subscriber numbers in the United States by companies reporting their first quarter 2008 numbers.

Comcast is on top with 5.2 million subscribers, followed by Time Warner with 3.2 million subs and Vonage in third with 2.6 million subscribers. Cox (2.5M) and CableVision (1.7) million round out the top five. Add them up and the top 10 providers serve nearly 18 million customers in the U.S., and that's not even throwing in Covad (Went private, not announcing numbers), AT&T, Packet8, and a number of other players.
