Spun-off Dialogic will focus on TDM
Back in the day, if you wanted a telecom circuit board, odds were good that it would come from Dialogic. Then the company got bought by Intel and somehow, Dialogic wasn't so dominant. Now Intel has spun Dialogic out again, selling it to the Montreal-based Eicon, which is taking Dialogic's name. Somewhat surprisingly, Dialogic says it will concentrate chiefly on TDM systems. It knows them, the company says, and there's still a lot of them out there and demand is still strong. Dialogic will do IP systems, too, apparently. But for now, Dialogic measures the decline of TDM in decades, not months.
