Study finds WiFi phones not too popular
WiFi for voice? Maybe not so much. A new report from Research and Markets says that consumers are pretty cool to the idea of swapping a cell phone for a WiFi phone. The researchers discovered that although a majority of respondents kind of liked the idea of a WiFi phone, a solid 25 percent cited no interest whatsoever. Limited range, voice quality, and pricing were cited as chilling factors.
