Survey: LTE gives MNOs opportunity to expand UC offering

Tools

With close to three-quarters of mobile network operators deploying or planning to deploy or trial LTE--4G wireless technology capable of delivering mobile broadband services with theoretical downstream speeds in excess of 100 Mbps and upstream speeds that top 30 Mbps, there's little question that MNOs will look to reach beyond their traditional role of delivering voice and IM to customers. In fact, according to a new survey from BroadSoft, 92 percent say they're offering or planning to offer unified communications services for enterprises. Read the NetworkWorld article here, or download BroadSoft's survey results and white paper here (PDF).
