TalkPlus does VoIP for grown-ups

Tools

Will the adult business help drive VoIP? That's the prospect of a new brand being sold by TalkPlus. We've written before about TalkPlus--a company that lets its customers put multiple phone numbers on a single cell phone. (The VoIP part of the TalkPlus play is the part that fields the calls and forwards them to your cell phone, and the part that puts the "alternate" number in your caller ID.) It seems that TalkPlus has another brand, "ShadowNumber," which it's marketing direct to the "alternative" market: people who don't exactly want to be giving out a number that can be telestalked. Hey--if it worked for VHS and DVD, maybe it'll work for VoIP.
