U4EA scores wins with Nuvio, SimpleSignal

Tools

U4EA Technologies has scored wins with Nuvio and SimpleSignal. Both companies will use U4EA's Fusion series of multi-service business gateway's (MSBG) to deliver hosted VoIP and SIP trunking services to small businesses.

Lately U4EA has been working on broadening its story beyond its initial presentation (burned into this reporters head early and often) of a multi-function box with specialized and effective quality of service (QoS) technology into a larger, more diverse product line capable of supporting unified communications applications, as well as voice, video and data.

Nuvio ran a bunch of tests on U4EA's Fusion MSBGs to verify that the products could assure quality of delivery for multiple real-time hosted apps over the Internet. The MSBGs edge devices are able to apply and enforce strict bandwidth metrics to make sure each application is guaranteed its required WAN bandwidth.

SimpleSignal is simply going to use U4EA's MSBGs for converged service delivery of voice, video and data, selling its services to SMBs through its network of affiliates, resellers and wholesale partners throughout the United States. SimpleSignal also ran Fusion through "thorough" testing to make sure that the box could handle delivering its suite of hosted VoIP and hosted UC applications.
