Unify Square adds proactive monitoring to PowerAssurance Skype for Business managed service

Unify Square has beefed up its Skype for Business remote managed service offering to proactively audit the health and system availability of the Microsoft unified communications product.

The latest upgrade to the company's PowerAssurance offering was designed to go beyond reactive monitoring and deal with issues before they become a problem that affects performance or availability. According to Unify Square's announcement, the end result is fewer outages, increased productivity and a reduction in the dedicated Skype for Business IT staff, leaving IT operations professionals with more time for other projects.

The focus is really on automation and greater visibility into the Skype for Business architecture. Unify Square was one of the first Microsoft Skype for Business partners, and they company aims to deploy and help enterprises manage their Skype deployments.

Its PowerAssurance managed service works in conjunction with its PowerSuite integrated UC operations tool, but part of Unify Square's value proposition is in its global team of Skype for Business experts.
