Verizon offers UC consulting to help customers make the switch

They say you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink and with so much legacy communication systems out there itching to be upgraded, the Unified Communications (UC) industry at least has to lead customers to the riverbank and give them a taste of what could be. This week Verizon Business announced it will be doing just that. It launched a suite of consulting services aimed at helping customers make to the switch to unified comunications by offering insight into how companies can integrate new communication tools every step of the way.

Verizon will offer strategic planning services to help customers visuallize how they can fully take advantage of UC. They will also provide financial consulting to offer insight into areas where companies thinking of moving to UC can save money. In addition, Verizon will provide consulting on operation integration to help get the ball rolling on putting UC into effect.
