The most ground breaking news to come out of the latest iPhone announcement is that it's being sold by someone other than AT&T... GigaOm wonders if it wasn't a missed opportunity for Verizon to offer FaceTime calling over its 3G network rather than model the AT&T limitations of just providing the service when tethered to a WiFi connection.
