VidyoMobile, which can be downloaded from the Android Market, runs on most ARMv7-based Android devices running v2.2 through v3.1 with support for v4.0 coming soon. The app requires a user account on either an enterprise VidyoConferencing system or with a Vidyo service provider.
VidyoMobile allows Android and iOS devices to join video conferences with other mobile endpoints, desktops, room systems or laptops from anywhere. The devices deliver up to 720p HD resolution with shared content viewing capability.
"VidyoMobile proves that you don't have to restrict yourself to audio-only calls when you're on the go anymore," said Ofer Shapiro, CEO and co-founder of Vidyo. "Enabling businesses to be competitive in a world that is going more mobile every day is key in the video collaboration industry and Vidyo is proud to lead the enterprise mobile videoconferencing space."
VidyoMobile is now available to over 67 percent of all smartphones and to 94 percent of all tablets.
