VoiceCon 2009: Psytechnics scores IBM Sametime QoE win

Tools

Psytechnics announced today that its Experience Manager solution now supports IBM Lotus Sametime Unified Telephony (SUT) users.  The Quality of Service/Quality of Experience (QoE/QoS) software gives SUT operations and support staff the ability to proactively manage and monitor voice call quality and deliver rapid, accurate diagnosis for any call quality issues.

The Psytechnics software is also the QoS/QoE choice of Microsoft and IBM. It has gained favor with vendors because of its user experience-based approach that employs performance management and reporting for IP based telephony to reflect accurately the user's real time experience. This increases user confidence with improved call quality reliability through proactive monitoring, detection, and diagnostics for user-affecting issues, and the solution delivers a reduction in operational and support incident overheads throughout the deployment life cycle by addressing common voice application problems, as well any network-induced problems across multi-vendor IP communications environments.
