A VoIP hacker who was arrested in 2006 after a crime spree that netted him over $1 million dollars selling millions of stolen minutes has pleaded guilty to wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and unauthorized access to a protected computer. He was caught in Mexico after going on the run, prior to which he was living in Miami spending his fortunes on beach properties and high-priced boats while selling minutes at four-tenths of a cent--a fraction of the price of his more legitimate competitors.
