VoIP on the rise in Africa and the Middle East
For a technology that actually still has a long way to go before all major businesses have adopted it in the US, VoIP is making some impressive inroads into developing countries as well. According to a report from Pyramid Research, Africa and the Middle East (AME) are becoming more likely targets for VoIP expansion.

Pyramid's newest report AME VoIP Prospects Brighten Thanks to Broadband Growth and Regulatory Relief acknowledges growing broadband access and easing of regulatory restrictions as cause for opening a path for revenue growth from this year's projects $1.1 billion to $2.77 billion by 2015 in those regions.
