Tools

VoX Communications provides wholesale VoIP and smartphone apps and just released a video phone as one of its core offerings. The voice and video solution is targeting the consumer market aiming to replace home phones as well as the small- to medium-sized business (SMB) market.

The Ojo Vision Digital Video Phone and service offers a high quality video on a seven-inch, high-resolution LCD digital screen, a contact list with photos and plug-and-play installation. Additionally, it doubles as a digital photo frame. It can even hook into an external TV or PC Monitor for a more immersive calling experience. The phone retails at about $250 without a contract and service plans start at around $10 for unlimited voice calling to the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico and unlimited voice and video with VoX customers.
